8 years ago in July, we travelled to Labrador Rescue to meet Millie. We loved her as soon as we met her. She was a beautiful 5-year old chocolate labrador who was very nervous and tried to run away to hide. I was upset thinking she didn’t like us but soon she came round and within a couple of hours she willingly jumped into the back of our car alongside Max our other chocolate labrador. She was the perfect girl. A credit to her previous owner who had trained her so well. She was so gentle and kind and was so very much loved. It was a privilege to have had her in our lives. Sadly on 29th August 2021 Millie passed away at the age of 13 years 8 months. It has broken our hearts but we have many happy memories of our beautiful gorgeous girl. She is now running free from pain with our Max over Rainbow Bridge. We will never forget you Millie. Sleep tight sweetpea.
