Pudsey was found as a kitten by workmen sheltering under a skip. My friend, who lived next door, asked if we could give him a home. Of course we would! He was around 5 weeks old, and I was 5 weeks pregnant. He was very snotty and needed antibiotics, along with lots of cuddles from us all. Once my baby was born, their bond grew, and they became the best of friends. Pudsey was very sociable and often went into the neighbours’ houses and sat with the kids, playing in the close. Over the last year, he lost half his weight and developed diabetes. He stopped playing and going outside, but he was still very loving and cuddly and showed us how much he appreciated us. He was very well cared for and loved deeply. He is no longer in pain or needing injections. He is now at peace and will be missed so much.
